Step By Step Process
Create Your Fleet
Once you have selected the fleet tab icon on the ShipTracks web interface you will see a list of default fleets created by ShipTracks. You can start creating your personalized fleet by selecting new.
A window pane will open and you can start searching for the vessels of internets. Check out the cool Gif below to see different ways to add vessels to your fleet.
Color Your Fleet
Two options exist to select from when coloring your fleet. Number one will color fleet by speed. This is the default option within ShipTracks when no fleet is turned on. This is a dynamic option. Basically, the vessels color will change according to its speed.
Red: traveling at less than 1.0 knots.
Orange: traveling between 1.0 and 5.0 knots.
Yellow: Vessel is traveling between 5.0 and 10.0 knots
Green: Vessel is traveling between 10.0 and 15.0 knots
Turquoise: Vessel is traveling at a speed greater than 15.0 knots.
Black: No AIS data has been received from the vessel.
Option number two, and this is recommended when creating fleets, is to color each fleet by "Color by Color". This option is static. If you select this, and turn on your fleet, the vessel color will not change.
TeamShare
You can share fleets amongst company members through TeamShare. Get a unified viewing perspective across your company and worry less about making sure everyone has the same vessels on their fleets.

Click on the Disk to save
To view your newly created fleets turned on every time you log in, make sure to turn them on now and click on the floppy disk. This will save as a new view in your ShipTracks profile. Your default view will become the fleets and map location you have turned on.
Tips and Tricks
Click and Drag Vessels
Click and drag vessel onto a fleet or from a fleet to quickly edit your content.
Share Fleet with Team
Right click on the item you are interseted in sharing with Team members in your group, and selecet "Share with Team".
